Bex
With over 10 years of experience in digital design and marketing, Bex - who is also the Creative Director of her own award-winning design agency, McKnight Inclusive Design - ensures that BarterPay Niagara's brand stays true to it's community-focused roots through the development of strategic marketing campaigns, brand management and content creation. Bex brings a unique empathy-first approach to her work which prioritizes the specific needs of our Niagara membership through the use of inclusive and accessible practices, drawing on her formal education in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the University of Toronto.
Bex's work is well-known and recognized within the Niagara region, earning her a Niagara 40under40 Award (2021) and Platinum Award for Best Graphic Design Studio (2020), a Nomination for the Niagara Business Achievement Award (2022) as well as being a Finalist for the Niagara Women in Business Awards in the Science and Technology category (2021). She has also been recognized nationally with Nominations for RBC's Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award (2020, 2021, 2022) as well as the Women of Influence Award (2020).
While based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Bex also loves living her best digital nomad life on the road, hiking and travelling around in her 1987 Volkswagon Westfalia with her husband, toddler and goldendoodle.
