Lincoln County Humane Society

The Lincoln County Humane Society is a charitable not-for-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals; to alleviate their suffering and neglect, support the human-animal bond and foster an environment in which people respect all living creatures. They provide safe refuge and compassionate care for animals.

The Lincoln County Humane Society has been involved with BarterPay since April of 2013, but they officially joined the BarterPay It Forward Program in January of 2019.

BarterPay It Forward is a program that was designed to allow BarterPay members to donate some of their Barter Credits to different charities in the BarterPay network. So far, BarterPay It Forward has helped create over BP 2,000,000 in donations to charities across the country!

Within the past year and a half, the Lincoln County Humane Society has been able to utilize tens of thousands of Barter Credits on goods and services for the humane society. Being able to acquire things such as landscaping services, snow removal, masks, tree removal, video production, and more, has allowed the LCHS to spend less money on administration costs, and spend more of their hard earned donor dollars towards improving the lives of animals all across the region!
